PlaceMKR Announces the Hiring of Stephen Naidu as Vice President of Asset Management

PlaceMKR is pleased to announce the hiring of Stephen Naidu as Vice President of Asset Management, based in Austin, TX. “I’m excited to join at such an exciting time for the firm, and I look forward to helping grow this already successful platform,” said Naidu.

A graduate of Colgate University, Stephen earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. Steve brings over a decade of experience in commercial and residential real estate, specializing in large-portfolio asset management, GP acquisitions, development, and capital markets. Outside of work, he's an avid tennis player and BBQ enthusiast who enjoys time with his wife, young son, and Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Brisket.

At PlaceMKR, Stephen will manage a commercial portfolio focused primarily on industrial, office, and retail assets, leading the firm’s leasing, reporting, and disposition efforts. What’s the best thing you’ve read, watched, or listened to lately?

Project Hail Mary. Sometimes it’s great to take a break and enjoy a truly good story — it’s a great reminder that so much of the business of real estate is storytelling.

What’s a hobby or interest you could happily talk about for an hour?

Besides commercial real estate? One of my passions is cooking. I love creating adventurous, interesting recipes, and I could discuss ideas, techniques, and success stories for well over an hour.

What was your very first job?

Tennis instructor at a summer camp during the day, and waiting tables at a local restaurant at night.
